I’m like a gymnast on the field. Sliding, stretching, jumping, taking a tumble, and occasionally getting into a rumble. I couldn’t do it without the right sliding pants. See, the ones I have don’t pull, gather or bunch. A guy needs to take all this into consideration when he’s playing real baseball. You can’t be dealing with walking funny back to the dugout because you’ve split your britches. You have to keep your pride and your confidence on that field and in your pants.
