Town & Country Elementary School Roadrunners

The skill of a left-handed pitcher never goes unnoticed. I overhear opposing teams whispering it when they see us take the field. It throws everyone off. Some batters think I'm going to beam them with the ball. Honestly, once in a while, I will purposely do it in the first inning, just to throw the team off for the remainder of the game. Coach thinks it's funny. He had them put Lefty on the back of my jersey, just for kicks. I told him if that was the case, then Charlie Robbins, our catcher, had to have Poncho on his. He did it! About my batting....that's a whole different ballgame.
